It is a nomad node, that can be carried, passed around. It does not belong to a specific place but adapts and mutates in relation to the surroundings and specific local context.
Intention:
To imagine a network that lives in bodies in motion, since it is wearable. It carries with you the possibility of accessing and contributing to situated and temporary knowledge — info.

Updates in the Design:
Updated on 07/06/26 by Emanuele Boriello. To make the prototype more robust, the plastic connectors were replaced with metal ones. The hanging component was sprayed in silver paint in order to create a more cohesive look in the design.
Technical Specifications:
The routing device used in this model was changed to a new specific one in order to ensure autonomous functionality even when not directly powered: a "Tp-Link TL-WR802N N300" was connected to a solar rechargeable power bank.
Battery Life:
Without direct solar charging, the device can last approximately 13 hours.
